The Hasler Foundation mainly supports educational, research and innovation projects where the aim is to promote the further development of information and communications technology (ICT).
On a more limited scale, the Foundation takes a financial stake in start-up companies within its specialist area, supports non-commercial organisations whose goals match those of the Foundation, and awards grants.
State-of-the-art ICT applications are not eligible for support from the Hasler Foundation, nor does it pursue any social objectives.
